    Thanks for the helpĪh okay you’re right so it looks like the gen 2s do load balancing by daisy chaining to each other and manages that way but the gen 3s will load balance over WiFi in a future update and need their own dedicated circuit. Would I need a 100a breaker with #4 for this or am I safe with just using a 60a breaker with #6? Sorry for my inexperience but I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything or if there’s a better solution I’m not seeing. But I believe I want a maximum of 60a from either charger individually or both combined together.

I will have to check on my utility transformer but I don’t think I want 120a of continuous load? Also I have no idea where my transformer is so I’ll have to call the utility company and ask them. I basically want to be able to use up to 60 amp if only 1 car is plugged in or split the 60 amp if two cars are plugged in. I wouldn’t need much more than 20mile/hr charging ability and I believe I can reduce the rate the chargers are able to charge manually so they act like 30a chargers. But I’m not certain so this is where I am getting confused. So I believe the Tesla chargers are load balancing and can charge split at <30amps if both are plugged in or if only 1 is plugged in, it will charge at its max 48amps.
